Dominic Cooke took up his position as Artistic Director of the Almeida Theatre in January 2026, having run the Royal Court Theatre between 2006 and 2013.  In this conversation, he shares his vision for the theatre's future, contrasts with the Royal Court, and the role he believes a theatre like the Almeida can play in London’s cultural life.
