Rory Cellan-Jones was the BBC’s principal technology correspondent until 2021. He now writes an influential Substack column on medical innovation, tech and his beloved Romanian rescue dog, Sophie. He talks to Hugh Pym about technological developments in medicine, health care and treatment of Parkinson’s - and also his gripping memoir Ruskin Park: Sylvia, me and the BBC, his gripping memoir cum detective story about his mother. Hugh is Health Editor at the BBC, and was nightly on our screens for his award-winning coverage of the Covid19 pandemic.
